Peel the onion and the butternut.
Chop the onion and the garlic clove. Cut the butternut in big pieces.
Pour the oil in the pan and sweat the onion, garlic and butternut without coloring.
Add the milk, the water and the salt. Bring to a boil and cook until butternut is cooked.
Add the nutmeg and mix the whole preparation.
Adjust the seasoning if needed.
Serve with a teaspoon of fresh cream (optional).
