Since the dawn of time, cooking has been a pleasure deeply rooted in the habits of the French. However, often due to a lack of time, this pleasure can sometimes become a chore. To remedy this, we have developed a new brand of blenders and kitchen accessories that redefines the relationship between culinary art, speed and efficiency: Cooking à la Française.

Cooking à la Française: quality without compromise

For nearly 60 years, our French-rooted company has been designing high-end mixers and blenders marketed under the Société d'études et réalisations mécaniques brand to catering professionals, who are full of praise for the great added value they bring to their kitchens.

With proven experience and know-how in the demanding catering sector, the company has made the bold choice of renewing itself by bringing high-quality kitchen accessories to all aspiring and home cooks, with the new Cooking à la Française brand. 

Our priority? To extend our offer and give aspiring and home cooks access to quality, easy-to-use, high-performance products, to assist them in creating ever more sophisticated and appreciated recipes.

Durability as a guarantee

In order to keep its promise of durability, our company has not held anything back in terms of the quality of the raw materials used in its product designs. Most of our items are made of stainless steel: a material that is resistant, robust, easy to care for and clean, and has a low environmental impact due to its durability.

And, to cover every eventuality, Cooking à la Française has established an extremely rigorous after-sales service policy. Every product offered by the brand is thus repairable, with the immediate availability of spare parts, for a minimum period of 10 years. 

To meet the sustainability challenges it has set itself, the company has gone even further: we have equipped some of our blender models with high-performance motors guaranteed for at least 10 years, such as the number 1 immersion blender in its category, the Minipro.

Our values and commitments

Without any values, a business is nothing. To defend the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments that are dear to us, we are committed to producing kitchen accessories in a more responsible way, with durability and sustainability as our top priorities. To achieve our goals, we design recyclable and repairable products with a view to reducing waste, for the benefit of the environment and our planet.

As members of the French eco-organization Ecologic, we defend the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) by promoting the responsible collection and processing of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). 

In response to the challenge proposed by the French government to phase out the use of all virgin and single-use plastics by 2050, Cooking à la Française has chosen to avoid all packaging with high environmental impacts, prioritizing instead cardboard and paper to package its products.
